It was a long day today. The sacrament talks were really good today. Both speakers talked on the LDS Advent calendar that has been put out by the Church giving us a different attribute of the Savior for the 25 days in December leading up to Christmas day. The speakers were Lainey Xu and Sister Haley. Mike got home around 7 pm and Margaret was kind enough to have dinner waiting.
After dinner "we" decided to go for a walk down towards the Domain to listen to the Carols in the Domain. We got as far as St. Mary of the Cross Cathedral. St Mary's had a large choir singing on the front stairs so we decided to listen for a bit. Then we were told that a light show would start at 8:30. We knew nothing of the light show, but had heard there was one at St. Mary's. It was super good. Below are some photos of the light show. Some have been posted on FaceBook.
After the light show we walked on to the Domain and listened to the music of "Carols in the Domain" which was ok, but nothing to pay money for. Then off to Martin's Place where we saw the large Christmas tree all lit up. Then we walked home and went to bed.
