Sunday, 29 Oct 2017  Kind of a normal week as we are getting settled into a routine of service and visits.

Monday, 23 Oct - We delivered 73 Christmas shoe boxes full of clothing, toys, school items at one of the Churches in South Grafton for the Samaritan shoe box charity drive.  Sister Stiller and Elder/Sister Swain helped us unload the boxes.  We also had time to talk with some of the people there and share testimonies of charity work. One of the ladies asked where our church building was as she was looking for a new "spiritual home".  We took the Swains to the fabric store in South Grafton and then left them to head home.  It was nice to have them stay over Sunday night and get to know them better.

Tuesday, 24 Oct - A normal day with the Primary youth activity in the afternoon.  The kids made Halloween invitations and handed them out to the neighbors living near the branch meetinghouse.  We hope that some people will come by and participate in the Halloween party.

Wednesday, 25 Oct - Margaret did her "Monday" declutter today as she was not available to help on Monday.  Then we did our Book of Mormon reading with Joseph & Decklin.  Then run home and get dinner ready for the young Elders before we held the District Training Meeting (DTM).  Elder Gibb does a good job in conducting the meeting and also in presenting the training - wow, I am impressed.

Thursday, 26 Oct - Margaret played taxi driver for a bit in the morning.  Then we made some visits to a few of the members. Attended YM/YW tonight.  Actually, Sister Haley conducted YW as Bethany was not feeling well due to her pregnancy.

Friday, 27 Oct - We drove around the city & country visiting members.  We also continued to work on Halloween decorations.

Saturday, 28 Oct - Some of the men of the branch met at one of the sister's homes and did some yard work.  We cut down 2 large branches from her mulberry tree and then loaded all the branches and wood on Tom Jones' trailer & Ute.  He hauled all the stuff out to his land and dumped it off in a ditch.

Sunday, 29 Oct - President Alfred visited the branch and called a new 1st counselor in the Branch Presidency.  Tom Jones was released and Clive Best was called.
